Product Registration Of Magellan GPS 

In order to register your Magellan GPS device, you can follow any of the following methods as per your preferred device.  

Method 1.

• First of all, you should turn on your Magellan GPS device. Thereafter, connect your navigation device with the internet through a Wi-Fi connection. 
• Subsequently, tap the blue Magellan button to open the TRX Dashboard.
• Next, tap on the Settings > Account Profile > Register New Product on your Magellan GPS device.
• Next, you need to enter the account details in the respective fields. If you already have an account, enter the same login credentials associated with the Magellan account. 
• In the following window, you should click on the “Login/Register” button. You will get this button at the upper right corner of the window.
• Thereafter, you are required to enter the login credentials associated with the Magellan account. Then, click on the “Login” button in order to login to your Magellan account. 
• However, in case, if you have not created your account yet. Then, you should first create it. For that, you should click on the “Login/Register” button. 
• Thereafter, look at the right-hand side of the panel. Under the “New To The Website?” section, you will find the “Create An Account” button. Hence, click on it to create the Magellan GPS login account. 
• Subsequently, follow the on-screen prompts in order to create your account. 
• Once your account is created and verified, after that login to your account. 

Method 2. 

• In order to register your Magellan GPS product, firstly you must be connected to the wireless network connection. In other words, make sure that your navigation device is connected with the internet.
• After that, you need to login to your Magellan GPS account. Follow the above-mentioned procedure in order to login to your account. 
• After completion of the Magellan GPS login procedure, your device will register itself. Hence, this completes the initial setup of a Magellan GPS device. 

Method 3. 

• First of all, you must open your preferred internet browser on your device. For instance, you may have Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. 
• Thereafter, visit on the official site of SmartGPS Eco. For this, type in “smartgpseco.com” in your browser’s address bar. You will get the address bar at the top of the page.
• Then, hit the enter key from your keyboard.
• If you already have an account, login to your SmartGPS Eco account. For that, enter the login credentials associated with this account. Then, you should click on the “Sign In” tab. You will get this tab at the bottom of the page. 
• In case, if you have not created an account yet. Then, you first need to create one. For that, in the login window, look for the “Sign Up” button. Hence, click on it in order to proceed further.
• As a result, it will redirect you to the account creation window. Subsequently, follow the on-screen prompts and create your account successfully. 
• Once your account is created and verified, after that login to your account. 
• Thereafter, you need to connect your Magellan GPS device with your computer. For that, connect one end of the USB cable with the navigating device and another end with your computer.
• Afterward, on the official website of SmartGPS Eco, click on the “Update” tab and then select your device.
• Consequently, SmartGPS Eco will prompt you to download the latest version of the map if it is available. 

How To Use Magellan GPS Devices?

• First and foremost, you should press the button marked with “Pwr” until the navigating device turns on.
• Thereafter, you need to select your desired language, time-zone, and region. Follow the on-screen prompts in order to proceed further. Use the up and down keys to scroll through the options and opt for the option you want with the help of the “Enter” button. 
• Next, you have to wait for a while until the GPS has acquired a satellite signal. Displaying the “Position” screen is the device’s way of indicating linking with satellite. Then, match the Sun Icon to the actual position of Sun in order to determine the actual north direction. 
• Afterward, you must read the latitude and longitude on the Position Screen in order to determine your actual position. When you move the Magellan Navigation, it will tell you which direction you are going and how fast you are traveling. In order to mark a specific area, you should press the “Mark” button twice from your GPS device. This will mark when you are over the position you want to save. the actual position of yours while traveling. Once the position is saved, the name of this waypoint will be shown on your screen. In case, if you want to edit the name of this waypoint, then press the “Mark” button once. 
• Now, in order to access a saved waypoint and move toward it, you should press the “Goto” button. 
• After this, select the waypoint that you want to travel to from the available list of options. Press the “Enter” button in order to make your preferred selection. 
• In case, you are unable to find your preferable selection type and enter your choice. 
• If you are willing to view a visual representation of the waypoint’s position. Then, you should press the “Nav” button. 
• At last, you need to push the “Pwr” button once, in order to turn the Magellan GPS off.
